GREENFIELDS YOGURT LAUNCHING AT ALMOND ZUCCHINI!

Last week I attended the exclusive launch of Greenfields' first yogurt line: Greenfields Yogurt at Almond Zucchini Jakarta. Being wildly used for tons of coffee shops in town, Greenfields has got to be everyone's favorite milk brand (at least me), there must a reason for that and only one word to describe that: QUALITY.

The event featured cooking demo from my long time friend and a very talented chef: Odie Djamil, but before that, brief introduction of the company and product from the Greenfields team and here I am paraphrasing it for you (lol). Greenfields is a brand that's under the AustAsia Group which for your information is one of the biggest milk producers in Indonesia and China, then manufactured and produced with the brand that we all know as Greenfields. The company has around 80.000 (yup 80 freaking thousand) cows in China alone and around 10k in Indonesia, and with that huge amount, no wonder why they can produce up to 930 tons of milk per day, and along the way, the milk will then proceed further to be the dairy products like fresh milk, cheese, whipped cream, butter and now... yogurt!

Can you name Greenfields products do you guys know? Aside from fresh pasteurized and UHT milk, then also have Greenfields Whipping Cream and Greenfields Cheese (Mozarella Cheese, Mozarella Shredded, Bocconcini, Camembert & Ricotta).
So what exactly differentiates Greenfields yogurt? First, since their yogurt is more to the thicker side, it's safe to say that they go through the 'Stirred Type' yogurt where they cool the yogurt first then flavored it and of course, Greenfields' yogurt is made from 100% REAL MILK with NO antibiotics! I just learned that they're the so-called 'fake' yogurt in the market now *yuck*.

Greenfields yogurt is available in four variants (original, mango, strawberry & blueberry) and three retail sizes and prices (125 gr - IDR 12.5k, 500 gr - IDR 49k & 1 kg - IDR 85k)

Cooking demo by Chef Odie Djamil. He taught us the easy way to make easy breezy breakfast like Mango Mascarpone Mousse Yogurt and Yogurt Spirulina creation!
Recipe abc easy: Greenfields mango yogurt + mango coulis (puree) + mango chunks + roasted almonds + honeycomb + edible flowers), you can add honey if you want!
Then we were placed in groups and challenged to make our own creation using Greenfields yogurt. I was in the same 'Mango' group with Mullie and Andy from myfunfoodiary! Below were the ingredients used to create our smoothie bowl! Fresh fruits, apple juice, roasted almonds, granola, chia seeds, coconut flakes, edible flowers and more!
Edible flowers
Frozen berries!
We made what we named "Mango Havana", basically Mango-Banana smoothie bowl with apple juice as the base, then chia seeds, edible flowers and decorated apple for that extra glam. We used three cups of Greenfields mango yogurt with one piece of banana and 5 table spoons of apple juice!
...AND GUESS WHAT? WE FREAKING WON THE CHALLENGE!!! Granted with IDR 250k dining vouchers at Maple and Oak which by the way is owned by Chef Odie Djamil.
The other team (aka losers) creations! I'M KIDDING!!! Honestly theirs are very good I don't even know why we won LOL.
It was a fun and simple launching night with my bloggers friends, I like how the event was so casual but still bringing that essence of what matters: the product launching. Had good fun making the smoothie bowls and ending this post with my genuine review of the yogurt...

Out of the four flavors, I like the blueberry one the best, I don't know, just maybe blueberries always work so well for yogurt flavor. I don't like the overly milky yogurt like greek yogurt and theirs were not so another plus point! It's properly milky, properly sweet while still tasting fruity. I brought some back home (actually that's the goodie bag), froze them and had them for breakfast the next morning and it was almost like this creamy frozen yogurt, and both ways just as good. greatworldhotel APPROVED? Absolutely!

SUSHI GO - GRAND INDONESIA

The pioneer of the legit one-priced sushi in town, Sushi Go, just recently opened their latest outlet in Grand Indonesia and guess who's freaking excited? ME (and I'm sure a lot of you too!), this is officially their second outlet after the well-accepted first outlet at Dotonburi PIK Avenue!
I came here with my preggo sis for lunch and the whole restaurant was full-house, but since they're located inside the Grand Indonesia's newly opened foodcourt, Foodprint, this outlet is a tad smaller than the PIK Avenue outlet, but they occupy this seating space precisely in front of the restaurant where you can dine and hang around.

I notice that they apply the 'Airport' theme for this outlet
Fresh eels! Live kitchen is installed in the middle of the restaurant and you can make sure for your eyes that they're taking good care of the hygiene! I will be freaking out if they don't.
The bombs!
One thing that makes their Grand Indonesia outlet stands out above their PIK Avenue outlet is the fact that they now have HOT KITCHEN, and that means they now have more food choices and they can serve you guys "made-to-order" food so freshness guaranteed!

As what I've mentioned earlier, the restaurant applies the 'one price' concept so everything that you'll be having here (or I had here) is going to be IDR 15k (before tax), it's seriously very affordable. It's like having Japan's very own Kura Zushi with taste that fits local's palate. Overall Sushi Go! offers around 100+ menus that ranges from Appetizer, Sushi, Salad, Sashimi, Gunkan, Maki, Rolls, Desserts with FREE Ocha (Japanese green tea) and condiments on the table.

Fried Salmon Skin - IDR 25k
To be completely frank I think their Fried Salmon Skin is among my favorite ones in town for how perfectly cooked it is, also the fat, chunky, juicy texture to the addicting salty flavor of it! I literally couldn't stop munching it from that first bite!
Salmon Carpaccio - IDR 40k
Softly torched (aka Aburi) salmon drenched in soysauce seasoning! I love how fresh the salmon was along with that soft-silky texture, and mayo dressing for flavor enhancement!
My lunch spread that day!
Gyudon Cheese Spicy Mayo - IDR 50k
Japanese rice topped with fragrant and seasoned sliced beef, fluffy onsen egg, cheese and spicy mayo. A combo that just can't go wrong! This dish is packed with playful flavor, you get the savory from the beef and spicy mayo, additional flavor from the cheese, but altogether is a beautiful balance!
Spicy Tori Ramen with Garlic Chive - IDR 40k
Lately I have been seeing more and more dry ramen creations in Japanese restaurant and here's a successful one in my opinion! This reminds me a lot of Sushi Hiro's dry ramen for the rich, sweet, savory, butterfy flavor, generous topping, and that onsen tamago for extra creaminess!
Salmon Bomb - IDR 15k/plate
Aburi Beef Salmon Bomb - IDR 15k/plate
Fusion sushi of beef and salmon topped with mayo!

Thank you for being consistent with your quality and for that I have this faith for success ahead! Sushi Go is still my go to restaurant for those affordable sushi that's align with the good quality, just DELICIOUS! Good job and best of luck!

HOG WILD WITH CHEF BRUNO - GADING SERPONG

If you visit Bali regularly and happens to be a fan of ribs, I believe this should be no stranger to you, and I am glad that they decided to take a leap of faith and open in (I really wanna say Jakarta) somewhere near Jakarta, yes, the famous Hog Wild with Chef Bruno is now opening in Gading Serpong! Of course I believe you guys probably wonder whether it will be as good as their Bali outlet? Keep scrolling to read the review, I am going to keep it simple yet straight to the point.

To be completely frank I kinda wished they opened in Jakarta instead of Gading Serpong, but well, Gading Serpong is a growing neighborhood and it has upcoming potential I believe. I came on Sunday last week with my brother for a lunch date and noticed some tables were occupied by families! The restaurant is spacious with two stories (and with spacious parking lot too) and even though not exactly very significant, but I love the little Bali vibe from the airy concept of the restaurant. Most of the areas here isn't really air-conditionized but they have a VIP room on the second floor that you can book for private event.
Upon entrance, you'll be greeted with a pig statue with its mouth open, almost excited!
The interior was so simple, almost raw and earthy but still has this Bali vibe to it! The interior on the second floor is a bit more to the private and homey side and not to mention the VIP room!
Even though they're highly known for their beautiful ribs, here at Hog Wild you can expect to find different kind of cuisines which mostly Western, Bali and local inspired such as Bebek Goreng, Burgers, Steaks, Skewers and more, but of course when you go here their ribs are ones that you can't skip! Price range for the food starts from IDR 35k-200k with drinks from IDR 15k-120k.
Martini
A little too early for Martini that day but why not? One thing about this is when you order their Martini they will serve it to you with their signature Martini Shake Dance (so get your phone and camera ready if you fancy recording). Today (December 8th 2020) marks the grand opening of their outlet and guests can enjoy 40% OFF alcoholic drinks starting from 9 PM! Promo valid until December 10th!

Aside from the original Martini you can also indulge on their Lychee Martini or Rujak Martini (if you like the more aggresive and adventurous kind).
From their 'Appeteasers' selections (love how they refer it as Appe-TEASERS) I had the Nachos (left) and Bang-Bang Wings (right).
Nachos - IDR 55k // Bang-Bang Wings - IDR 47k
Nachos - IDR 55k
Their Nachos was this simple and proper Salsa-Guacamole style, basic but enjoyable. The corn tortillas were crunchy and fresh, toppings were fresh and overall pretty light which is kinda good because I don't want something too heavy before I indulge on their freaking ribs!!!
Bang-Bang Wings - IDR 47k
Their Bang-Bang Wings are nicely seasoned and came in the right portion of 4 (which again, light for starters), I thought the chicken would be spicy but it was very mild, and probably why they had it paired with the dipping sauce.
Aside from the two above, they also have various Salads, Quesadillas and Chips for appetizers.

Dare to Rib - IDR 159k (served with one optional side dish)
It's unacceptable that you go to Hog Wild without having their beautiful pork ribs (unless you are Muslims of course), when I dine at their Bali outlet I normally have their Wicked Ribs and on my visit here I had their Dare to Rib, both are the same 500 grams pork rib base (but somehow I feel like the one that I tried felt a bit smaller maybe it's just me), and what makes them different is the marinating sauce glazing! While the Wicked Ribs uses the BBQ sauce for that sweet and tangy flavor, the Dare to Rib's paired with Ginger-Honey sauce for that beautiful harmonious sweet and savory flavor with caramel note! I personally liked the Dare to Rib better than the original even though both has slightly different character to one another!

Had my ribs paired with Sweet Ptato Fries (IDR 22k - additional price), other side dishes include: Steamed Rice, Porn Corn, Handcut Fries, Mashed Potatoes, Sauteed Vegetables, Garlic Bread and Sunny Side Up.
Meat wise, of course they cooked it perfectly to reach that tenderlicious and finger-lickin' good consistency! So tender, soft, and overall without much fat but still very juicy, just HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Hamburger - IDR 88k
Maybe I am already very biased with their ribs so the burger was just OK for me. The patty was a bit dry, maybe a little sauce action would elevate the performance.
Homemade Gelato by Liberta - IDR 29k
Sweet closure to the fingerlicking good lunch, they have various dessert options here from Chocolate Brownies, Mousse, Gelato, Pisang Goreng (Banana Fritters), and Banana Split. The homemade gelato is available with variants such as Dark Chocolate, Mango, Durian, ferreo, Strawberry and Vanilla. I had the Strawberry one, if they're consistent so the consistency of the gelato's more to the creamy-milky kind.
Pisang Goreng - IDR 33k
Now this one I really like! Classic banana fritter packaged differently and served with one scoop of Vanilla ice cream! When it comes to banana fritter I like the mushier kind and they cater my wish so this one's sure approved by me.
Casual weekend accompanied with my brother and good lunch! Ribs was memorable, service was friendly! Cut to the chase so greatworldhotel approved? YAS!
